Description
It is also a romping interplanetary adventure that takes our heroes to Mars and back again, with stops along the way. It also includes highly charged interspecies competitions, such as a three-legged race to secure matrimonial rights and a series of wrassling matches to secure rights to existence itself. The three-legged race is particularly challenging, considering that some of the contestants have more tentacles than your average squid collective.
Over the course of the adventure, readers will also become familiar with the intricacies of troll numeracy–both the mountain and forest varieties. They will also learn how to read–and if they are very clever–speak trollish.
Most importantly, they will learn not to judge a book by its cover or a troll by the number of feet and eyes it sports. There’s just no telling what goes on inside those lumpy grey-green heads. All in all, it is highly educational.
But above all else, it is a heartwarming love story, sure to bring tears to the eyes. True, some may be tears of painful disbelief, but there’s no helping that.
Enjoy!
